Most companies have many "experts". As "experts" they are chosen because they are all well qualified. What makes the difference between an average "experts and an experts "experts? The answer to that question is simple…communication. The ability to clearly and concisely communicate is the key. The ser vices that an expert provides can involve many layers of communication. There is the communication with the Adjuster and/or the attorney in which explaining complex medical/chiropractic facts with certainty and efficiency is essential. In addition, the expert should be able to communicate those same facts in a written narrative form that follows a continuous line of thought and leads to a definitive conclusion. The experts "experts should also have the ability to communicate to the layperson. When called upon to testify, using complex medical jargon only serves to confuse a juror. Simple explanations to complex ideas can sway the jury to a positive outcome. In conclusion, just having the knowledge to be an expert is not enough. Being able to effectively communicate that knowledge is the answer to what makes an experts’ "experts".
